How to play
Find the hidden molecules by firing rays into the black box from the edge emitters.
- Hit (H): A ray hits a molecule directly and is absorbed (either straight ahead or after deflections!).
- Deflection (Number): A ray passing diagonally adjacent to a molecule turns 90 degrees.
- Pocket Reflection (R): When a ray hits directly between two molecules, both deflect it simultaneously, bouncing it straight back.
- Edge Reflection (R): A ray bounces straight back if an adjacent molecule on the edge deflects it 90 degrees right at the entrance.
- Clear Path / Miss (Number): A ray travels through the box and exits at another edge. The entry and exit points are marked with matching numbers.
- Replaying Rays (Free): Tap any active border emitter at any time to replay its animated ray path across the board for 0 points (free).
Tap inner squares to register your guess as to molecule locations.
Tap a second time to place an orange β to make a note that you don't think a particle is there - this is ignored by the game. Tap a third time to clear it. Submit your guess when you've placed all your guess markers!
