How to play
Find the hidden molecules by firing rays into the black box from the edge emitters.
- Hit (H): A ray hits a molecule directly and is absorbed.
- Deflection: A ray passing diagonally adjacent to a molecule turns 90 degrees.
- Reflection (R): A ray exits exactly where it entered. This happens if it hits a molecule immediately upon entry, OR if an adjacent molecule on the edge deflects it 90 degrees before it even enters the board (an "Edge Deflection").
- Miss (Number): A ray travels through the box and exits at another edge. The entry and exit points are marked with matching numbers.
- Replays: Tap any previously fired beam marker to replay its animation for free.
Tap inner squares to register your guess as to molecule locations.
Tap a second time to place an orange β to make a note that you don't think a particle is there - this is ignored by the game. Tap a third time to clear it. Submit your guess when you've placed all your guess markers!
